Try to make these spicy biscuits, you will be enraptured by the Christmas magic.

A simple and fragrant pastry, a cookie cutter that is present in everyone’s imagination, the children ready to decorate the biscuits and hang them on the tree with a beautiful red ribbon.


350 g. “anti-lumps” flour Molino Chiavazza
150 g. cane sugar
150 g. wildflower honey
1 egg
2 teaspoons of ginger powder
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
1 pinch of nutmeg powder
1 pinch of ground cloves
1  teaspoon of baking soda
1 pinch of salt

For the icing:
1 egg white
400 g. powdered sugar
food dyes


Whip soft butter with sugar. Then add the egg and finally honey. Add the dried ingredients previously mixed in a bowl, until you get an elastic and homogenous dough. Make a ball and put it to rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Then spread on a floured worktop, the dough must have a thickness of ½ cm at least.
With the man shaped cookie cutter make many cookies, if you want to hang them make a hole with the tip of a sac a poche.
Put them slightly spaced on baking plates and cook at 180° for 10 minutes. They must not darken too much.
Churn out and let them cool so that they harden.

Once cold whip the egg white adding little by little the powdered sugar. Color to taste with food dyes and divide into sac-a-poche.
Proceed with the decoration as you like.

Insert a ribbon into the hole drilled in the cookie and hang them on the Christmas tree.
