Pastry cream

The box contains 2 packets with 75 g of preparation. Each packet could stuff 15-20 cream-puffs or to make a layer on a cake of 24 cm of diameter.

WHAT TO ADD

For each packet add 300 ml of milk. To stuff a fruit cake use 250 ml of milk and not 300 ml to have a thick cream.

ADVICE FOR A GOOD PRAPARATION

Necessary equipments
Electric mixer and a bowl with highs edges.
This pastry cream is really easy to prepare and it doesn’t require cooking. Its peculiar feature make it very adapt for every kind of pastries. Pastry cream has a really fresh and delicate taste, a vanilla scent that is accompanied to a delicate note of lemon. It has a smooth and velvety consistency, perfect to be spread.
Put the 300 ml of milk in the bowl and add slowly the preparation of one packet always melting to obtain a fluid cream without clot. Mix all with the electric mixer at maximum speed until to obtain a smooth and homogeneous cream. Keep the cream in the refrigerator.
This pastry cream could also be used for a subsequent baking. It could be personalized with the addition of whipped cream or yoghurt.
